An Invitation

You, dear reader, are an essential part of ULTRA BOWL because ultimately a book is a collaboration between the author and the reader.
The acclaimed writer Ursula Le Guin has said, "The writer cannot do it alone. The unread story is not a story; it is little black marks on wood pulp. The reader, reading it, makes it alive: a live thing, a story." She goes on to say that writers "need all the help they can get....(they) have to get used to launching something beautiful and watching it crash and burn. They also have to learn when to let go control, when the work takes off on its own and flies, farther than they ever planned or imagined, to places they didn't know they knew."
So I extend an invitation to all you readers out there: "Help me bring ULTRA BOWL to life!"
